Wedding Reception Disc Jockey Services

Planning a  local or destination wedding? Perhaps a Front Range wedding, or a mountain wedding in Colorado Ski Country. Our mobile DJ will come to you, with an awesome blend of great music, fun, and energy! Wulf DJ will provide top notch service, with the attention to detail that many fly by night dj services just don't offer you. We will be flexible to your needs while providing the know how that only years of experience brings when helping you to plan, and Wulf DJ  to play your very special day. Professional quality sound equipment featuring dual JBL Eon powered speakers and dual hard drive based music libraries ensure backup and continuity, and ultimately peace of mind. Wulf DJ  will not overpower the microphone with over the top banter. We'll emcee your wedding reception with class and professionalism. Your DJ can begin playing from the guests arrival at the venue, until your receptions conclusion. The time you wish to book us is up to you!

The Wedding Guests Arrive…

Typically when your guests arrive at the reception venue, a cocktail hour and photo session with the bride, groom, bridal party, and family members proceed dinner and dancing. Subtle background music usually best accompanies this time. We will often feature music by artists such as Frank Sinatra, Micheal Buble, Jack Johnson, and many more artists spanning generations and genres meant to please guests of all ages without overpowering your friends and families conversations. You may also specify excactly what type of music that you would like played  throughout  this portion of the reception.The DJ can make any necessary announcements or introductions per your instructions. 

Wedding Dining…

Upon wrapping up photos and cocktails, your DJ can announce that  your guests may be seated for dinner (specifying seating assignments if needed). This is most often a wonderful time for the bride and groom (and the bridal party if desired), to be officially introduced to all of your guests, as you will have your most captive, attentive audience. This task can be happily carried by your DJ. Occasionally a couple will take this time before dining to have their first dance. Most often the first dance will follow dinner. Our musical playlist will remain subtle in volume. We try to rely on instrumentals and other low key conversation friendly music during dinner. As guests  finish their meals, the bride and groom will begin to mingle,meet,and greet, and coffee will replace empty plates on tables. You and your friends and family will surely be ready for some dancing and fun!

Dinner Postlude, Newlyweds First Dance, and Reception Traditions…

Following dining, many  traditions usually take place, like the cutting of the cake, and  the bride and grooms first dance. A father and daughter dance, and/or a mother and son dance can follow as well .Those dances are completely up the the wishes of the bridal couple. Your DJ can also emcee these. Then it's time to dance! Your guests will be ready to party!

Wedding Reception Dancing Begins…

This is where our knowledge and experience matter most. We'll deliver a great playlist of your favorites & requests. We allow you the flexibility to completely customize your selections,  leave it to us, or maybe a bit of both!  We can play a high energy, infectuous mix of all-time crowd pleasers, classics, and today's smash hits! Whatever you choose. Your DJ will pay attention to guests of all age groups to ensure a great time for everyone! Sometime during the dancing, whenever appropriate, the DJ can announce your bouquet toss and/or garter retreive and toss, if you choose to observe these traditions, we can round up those eligible singles and play fun and relevant songs to accompany the good times. At evenings end, when most everyone is good and tired, Your DJ can announce your departure if you like, and send everyone happily on their way. We even ask if you have a favorite song to end the evening with as it's most important to end on a good note!

Reception services include providing a professional grade sound system, our entire music library, your DJ performing emcee duties, and the set-up and breakdown of the equipment. "Reception Planner" and "Musical Preferences" planning forms are supplied to you upon booking as well.

• Events in remote locations may be levied a travel fee.

• Dancefloor lighting is available! Your dance floor is sure to pop with the addition of colored dancing lights!
